How loud is this clock’s ticking sound? Also, what material is the clock body made of?

The ticking is extremely quiet. It's very authentic looking but it is plastic and very light weight. I do live it.

I spray a small amount of window cleaner on a paper towel and wipe the clock face with it. I use a paper towel moistened with a little water to wipe down the case. It still looks as good as new after almost a year.
