Q: does it contain fiber glass?

I ordered this to make masks too (I am assuming that is why you're asking this). Its huge. I think its the wrong kind of filter and I am nervous to use it. I'm going to buy a HEPA filter by Filtrete instead, they for sure do not have fiber glass. I have no idea about this one.

Q: Can this be used in an aquarium?

It is a polyester fiber that should be able to filter in water. You may want to soak in water first to leach out any of those chemicals those nonregulated countries may use. You might also try it on some cheap fish as not to kill a tank of $$.

Q: Can you slide a metal frame inside of this filter?

This is cut to fit whatever length you need
