These are not especially slippery but will slip some if you are playing a vigorous sport like tennis. They are slightly tacky and will stay in place if you are walking.

Absolutely. I've tried so many things to stop the blisters on the back of my heels (socks, shoe pads, band aids, etc.) and none have worked consistently. These have held up incredibly well considering the beating they take, and I have had zero blisters since I started using them.
