GEM8 is designed to use 18650 batteries and CR123A batteries. A standard 18650 can comfortably fit in.

Q: Is this good for testing Jade rubies aquas ect?

Well it helps looking for inclusions etc, but it’s not going to tell you if a gem is treated. If you mean a gem tester - this will not identify stones.
