Q: Will you guys be making a cable that bends the other way? This does not fit my F8 with the power cable plugged in

There is no fixed timeline yet on left angled cables but it's high on our priority list.

Q: ? does this work with the pioneer ddj sb3 dj controller

The USB cable works great with controllers (including your DDJ-SB3). However, if you opt for the right angle version, the cable will run into your Master out RCA cables and will need to be routed above or below them. Someone posted a picture of their SB3 and the cables in the review section.

Q: will it work for a mic?

Yes, as long as your mic has an USB-B connector.

Q: how do you optimize a cable for audio when 1s and 0s are traversing it?

The 1s and 0s aren’t really the issue even though they can be. If there is too much noise you get jitter but again… not really the problem. The problem is the current side… because you are NOT just sending 1s and 0s you are sending power along for the ride and connecting grounds as well. These cables can transfer a whole lot of nasty noise from the computer to the audio device. This can be especially bad if you are going from that audio device to a large amplifier. You’ll get hiss and weird electrical noises from mosfets and coils. It’s bad enough that I gave up and had to switch over to a system where my audio device ran off battery and connected to the computer with optical cable. NOT IDEAL but my studio monitors where not having it any other way if I wanted them to be silent when there was nothing playing.

Consideren la posición de las salidas RCA de su controlador.

La calidad del cable es excelente, pero no consideré la posición de las salidas de audio RCA. Tengo un controlador Pioneer DDJ-SB3 y al instalar el cable con el ángulo a 90 grados, los cables RCA quedan un poco forzados con el cable Chroma USB. Si funciona, pero no es cómodo instalar y desinstalar.

Don’t get this for a Abelton push

Bends is in the wrong direction. I knew this at one point, but forgot and ordered it anyway. I’m not sure if it even works with the push as some cables do not. I might try a straight one.

I may never buy another Controller USB cable...

Amazing build quality, I don't know the last time I felt this confident about potentially never needing another Controller USB cable. Flexible but firm enough to not kink. The 90 degree bend on the USB-A side is the only way to go. I can tape it to my controller to keep it from wearing out the connection, or with the larger DDJ controllers you can use the cable clip for this and the power chord. This is my new go to for audio, as with big DJ events the color coordination helps to keep other DJ's sticky fingers from taking my gear as their own. AMAZING about to buy some of their audio cables to match.
