I know this medicine dispenser robot is a bit costly but I really truly works exactly as it should. Because of this machine I have been able to give my dad back some of his independence and autonomy. It has prevented him from having to go into a care facility so he can be comfortable at home. My dad has mental health issues and was getting confused and overdosed himself on medications several times by accident. With this medicine robot there is no overdosing. The machine has two different locks on it. It is impossible to get to the medicine without the keys. The loud alarm and flashing light makes it easy to know it is time for medicine even if the tv and dishwasher are going.This can be set for up to 4 different times per day for doses for a full week.As we’ve used the machine for a while it has become easier to use with routine. It doesn’t take long to get used to the set up. This has saved my family sooooo much heartache. I highly recommend this machine. I can’t say enough good things about it.

I bought this machine with the metal cover and used it for about ten months with no problem. It was a lifesaver, to say the least. My sister learned how to push the previous machine we were using so that one became useless at that point. This machine was fantastic until it wasn't...belt error, shriveled up belt. I called and got Steve who was so nice and understanding and immediately sent me out a new one, with a new belt material. I did pay the difference between overnighting it and three day delivery because it was very costly and I definitely needed it immediately. That said, the new one had a belt error after two days of using it. So, I called Steve immediately...again, he was amazing. Being in the one year warranty window, I requested a refund because at this point, it is unreliable. If not for that darn belt, it is amazing, meeting every need. Steve didn't even hesitate and contacted epill, the company I bought it through via Amazon, and he even voided my shipping check I sent because...well, it was the right thing to do. No response for a few days but then epill responded and issued a refund immediately. I'm very sad that I have to go back to the old machine but I have no choice at this point. If they ever get that belt figured out, I will definitely be purchasing again. Normally if something doesn't work, I give one star, no question, but the customer service was outstanding from start to finish and I am grateful for the ten months of no headaches regarding my sister's meds.

If you are struggling with someone who must take opioid medications but who's addiction is creating endless family drama, please read this heartfelt review.First, this thing is expensive, absolutely. But can you put a price on your sanity? Our aging mother is basically a legal-opioid addict who cannot take the right amount of her prescription pills at the right time. As a last resort we purchased this product and I cannot tell you in words what a miracle it has become. It will give her exactly the dose she needs, at exactly the right time, no more, no less, and she cannot break into it. A family member who keeps her medications fills her pill tray once a week, inserts it into the machine, and let's the machine do it's thing. It turns out the just scheduling the dose time and amount properly made ALL THE DIFFERENCE and she is like a new person because of this machine! If you are struggling with a relative who has to take opioid medications due to pain, but who is an absolute wreck and creates endless havoc in your family, this will be a godsend to you, spend the money! Long term, this machine will save you money!

This machine was purchased for our elderly mother who could not remember if or when she had taken her medicine. After purchasing this unit, I would fill and lock the insert that holds the medication, and she was able to use it properly. It was extremely expensive, but my brother felt that it was the only one that our mother would be able to use. Unfortunately, she only used it for two months before she had a TIA and went to a nursing facility before she died.

This product was life changing for me. It dispenses my moms medication and let’s me be away from her for a week at a time. I wish it went up to a month. Overall it dispenses reliably but cannot be jostled or else the belt breaks. It is a very small market for these so that’s probably why it’s so expensive but it’s still a good buy.

This can only be set for a Saturday to Sunday dispense. It must be reset each Sunday if you want a weekly run period.

Edited: while I did have some problems, the seller was wonderful to work with in helping us.Bought in September 2021. The belt inside is broken and won’t operate. Hoping the seller can replace since it’s so expensive and should last longer than one year.
