I’m very tempted to order this, but I’m not sure what I’d use it on. Pizza and eggs come to mind, any other suggestions?

Great in roasted potatoes, homemade bbq nachos, grilled chicken, scrambled eggs..... my husband and son are big in to dips and sauces, and this one they eat on everything! I’m surprised to see some people’s negative reviews on it.

This stuff is about as hot as a typical mild salsa. Based on your 1-10 rating, it’s over a 3 and under a 5. It’s not very hot at all which is perfect because nobody should buy any truffle oil products, or truffle hot sauce for that matter, for the heat. People use truffle oil for the flavor, so if it was stupid hot, you’d never enjoy it.

How hot is it in comparison terms? Can you do a comparison of brands or typical products?

A little hotter than Texas Pete, also thicker and more flavorful. This one is more mild than Black Truff and is a seasonal item. My absolute favorite.

What is the price so different between black and white truffle oil?

they are both infused with either white or black truffles.... the black gives a more earthy and mushroom highlight
