Fantastic
Such a well thought out book to help children with as ADHD understand it and give them confidence that there's nothing 'wrong' with them. There's some good tips in to help them with their concentration and impulsivity. Great book very highly recommended.

Great
My kids love these books. They seem to get them and pay attention. This one will help as my youngest has just been diagnosed with ADHD.

Nice but needs female representation
This book is a nice read where we stopped along the way to discuss how my daughter is similar to the dragon etc... and its great for boys but there's zero girls in it, there's a great couple of pages where the dragons friend tells him about different famous/successful people who also have ADHD, it was all men. I was disappointed as they mention a number of people but not one of them was a woman. Even if this book is written for boys I think its still important that boys know that women can also have ADHD. if you're reading this to a girl make sure you have a list of women with ADHD so she can see herself represented also, Emma Watson, Solange Knowles, Zooey Deschanel, Simon Biles, Lisa Ling, Audra Mcdonald, Cammi Granato, to name a few.

Rubbish. Too American. Assumes diagnosis already made
Rubbish. Too American and wouldn't download to my kindle.. It assumed child has had a diagnosis. It's only real suggestions to help children is that the set a timer each toy they play with. Yeah right.

Perfect for kids to understand their diagnosis
My daughter loves this book. She was a bit taken aback by the diagnosis (although it was completely obvious!) and this book has helped calmed her down.

The whole series is fantastic
I love this series, and this is no exception. I bought all 40 in the series simply because they have such gentle and wonderful lessons - even when the situation doesn't directly relate to your child. Every night since my 4 year old has received them we have read one before bed, and discussed each one. I'll be reading this one to him tonight. The rhymes are pleasant, the message of each story, great. I would recommend this series to any parent who enjoys reading to their young child, or to any parent who wants to gift it to their young reader finding their way. Thank you, Steve Herman

Ableist. Offensive. Ignorant.
I bought this to help explain adhd to my son.The story started out beautifully but seems to miss the point that for most people with ADHD if they could choose to behave differently in social situations then they would. If my son could choose to run around outside but not in class, he would. If he could stop and think before he spoke, he would. I’m so sad you got it so wrong in these parts but this is simply not something I will ever read to my child with those pages inside.

A great what to teach your child about ADHD
When telling my son about his ADHD diagnosis I read him this book after we talked. I also got the stuffed animal character (sold separately) but these two combined really helped my child feel at ease with this new information. The book hit all the points in an easy and helpful way. Highly recommend!
