Is the bark in your Pau D'arco bark taken from the inner bark of the tree--wildharvested?

I would think it is wild harvested. Bodark or purple heart as the tree is known, is wild growing in the Amazon rain forest and I can think of no reason why they would need to cultivate it. Pau 'D' Arco is portugese for stick of arc, or bow wood. It saved my life and has kept me in optimum health for over 20 years. I truely believe in this medicinal bark.

Is this pesticide-free?

I loved using this item. You need to ask the supplier about pesticides. I had no indication of them.

how long before it expires??? closed & opened?? once i open it??? the one i don't open?? how long is that shelf life???

Bark lasts near forever, no sign of this going bad from opening the package. My problem was that even trying Frontier pau d'arco several times of several years, I could not the action from it that I need for a medical condition. Fortunately two other vendors (the only one remaining is Taheebo Tea Club) had good product that worked every single time.
