Q: Is this reel good for far casts? i know the piscifun flame spinning reel has even line lay. is this reel similar with line lay?

Yes, is suitable to do long casts but mostly depends on the type of line and the rod you’re using. Always fill up the spool for longer casts.

Q: The reel came with 2 small metal washers ... don't have a clue where they go ??

They are used to adjust how the line lays on the spool.

Q: What is the difference in models

How much line they will hold. Also the 1000 has a slower gear ratio. 5.2-1. The 2000 & 3000 are mostly the same size except the 3000 has a larger spool. Both of these models are 6.2-1 gear ratio.

Q: What's the best size reel for 1 to 10lb Bass & trout?

I think it's better to ready, I like to use more saltwater reels no matter were I go. For any 1to 20lbs fishing challenge I definitely use the Picifun reel. Works very well and it's really strong. With 22lbs Max.Drag reel you can fight out of the water any fish. And Picifun have the reel, I don't promote any brand I spoke what's really works for me. Remember you don't know how big it's or will be your catch.
