Drum machine
I like this drum machine. It reminds me of the Korg drum machine that I had back in the '80s. Well at least the sounds do. Good performance in the qualities there. Good value for the money.

Hard to beat the price even if you can't adjust any of the sounds
This is a very close copy of the Roland TR-606, with a few differences. It has analog circuitry, 3.5mm outputs for each drum sound, and Behringer added a distortion circuit which I didn't think I would use but it's actually not bad when you want a bit of a harder sound.Unfortunately, the drum sounds cannot be altered except for the volume. This is the same as the original 606 and it's kind of annoying but if you just need a simple drum machine with a classic sound, it's fine. Programming the beats is easy and can be done quickly. It's not super self explanatory by looking at the unit but a quick video online will have you making patterns quickly. You can also use the Behringer software to make patterns on your computer and transfer them to the RD-6 via the USB port.I like the tangerine orange color, although I'll admit it's a little weird. I just bought the cheapest one and they all sound the same from what I can tell. I have no idea why the silver and some other colors are 60-70 dollars more for the same thing when they all cost the same to make. I sort of wish the unit was a bit smaller. I know they want it to feel substantial but in a studio filled with a lot of hardware, it does take up quite a bit of room for such a basic drum machine. fortunately it does have a gate in to trigger patterns and set a clock speed with external hardware. You can also use MIDI if you want to get fancy. Overall, I'm happy with this unit. Quality is solid and it's hard to complain about small quirks for the price.
