Q: does it diminsh artificial color of your hair with continued use?

No. I've used it on my colored hair for many years with no fading.

Q: Why do your products leave flakes in my hair ? why didnt you explain this ?

I have only noticed a little bit of flaking when I use too much in the same spot. You really need to work it into the hair, all over the hair, being careful not to apply a glob in one location. When it does have a little flaky, just add water to that spot and work it back into the surrounding hair.
