I realise the figures are unpainted, but do we need any special glue or tools to construct them?

Any plastic glue although I’d recommend Tamiya extra thin. A pair of small side cutters, a hobby knife and a couple of sanding sticks. The models are also unpainted so consider that. The alternative is to try and buy pre built and painted teams elsewhere

What are the contents of the box? Does it come with two teams?

The box comes with everything you need to play. It contains a team of Black Orcs and human team including 4 star players.

Does it contain rules for star players?

Yes it does, has an extenisve list of Star Players and rules for playing them. Not all of the current star players by any means but definitley enough to get tyou started.
