Best fruitcake ever.

My husband will only eat the Jane Parker brand of fruit cake, preferring the classic light over the dark recipe.I order him one every year and this time, instead of a regular whole cake, I purchased the individually wrapped pieces. They were well packaged and the slices were smaller than I anticipated but since they add up to the weight of a whole cake, he can just eat two slices instead of one.I like the idea of individually wrapping each slice to maintain freshness and prevent dryness and loss of flavor. He is definitely happy !!!!😊

Have been buying my mom a Jane Parker fruit cake each year, but she tended to pick at it with a fork until it was a pile of fruit rubble. The individually wrapped slices solved that. And this is real Jane Parker fruit cake. Those of you who remember A&P Supermarkets remember Jane Parker. This is that. Well worth the cost for anyone who loves fruit cake.

Flavor was good and moist cake.Portion size is on the small side.

"I appreciate that these cakes are fresh and have a great taste. However, I must point out that they are too small to be considered a slice. To have a satisfying portion, one would need to eat about five of them which is quite inconvenient. In my opinion, it's better to buy the whole cake instead of these small cakes. Regrettably, I wouldn't buy these again."

Jane Parker is a delicious classic fruit cake. The individual packaging is perfect for stocking stuffers or to include as a package topper. I do wish there was a label on each for allergens so people know. I made a small label with the allergens and the URL to the Jane Parker website. I put these in little Santa sacks for a gift exchange.

These fruitcake squares are the perfect size when you just want a small snack. Taste is typical fruitcake, full of fruit and nuts.
