Q: Does the spout cover screw on or just put on?I would have to carry the bottle in my bag and don't want it to spill from the spout unexpectedly..

The actual top screws on and it does not cause any leads as for the spell it has a unique screw-top on it which allows for no water to come out so you are good on that end and you don't have to worry about anything spilling in your bag.

Q: Is there a way to remove that writting without damaging the bottle

The writing will scrape off will a flat head screw driver but will also scratch the bottle, after a period of time the writing seems to wear off anyway
