My Genuine TCL remote quit after 3 years. I thpought this would be a good replacement. My TV was listed as being compatible with this.It may be compatible, but in typical Amazon fashion, it is the result of the old bait and switch. This remote is NOT the same size of shape either from the front or in profile. The front has a shiny mirror like finish. Like new patent leather shoes. Even the back is slippery, making it difficult to hold, VERY slippery. All the buttons are sunken into the remote much more so than the original, so that they are almost flush with the surface. The arrow buttons in particular are embedded in a circular sloped recess, so that the edges of the recess are virtually the same as the buttons making it difficult get a response from them. Simply put, there isn't much button to push down.I would call this a piece of crap. It annoys me every time I try to use it. I have another remote for my other TCL TV so I can share it for the time being. Maybe I can find another one that functions better. It's a real shame that TCL doesn't produce their own replacement remotes.UPDATE: Returned it for a refund
