Yes, they are extremely heavy and sturdy. We've had our set of 4 outside for the last few weeks. We had high winds for a few days last week. The chairs did not even tip over, let alone blow away. They are very well made. You shouldn't have to worry.

Q: The metal piece in the foot support came loose from the plastic. What kind of glue should I use to glue the metal piece into the plastic hole?

I would think hot glue would work
