Good looks with leather cover protection to refer Words of God to live in faith.

Just what I needed. I did print out the added books for Orthodoxy, some of my favorite daily prayers to have on hand, and some of the NT Apocrypha I enjoy (Didache) but this still fits the bonus pages! And with a couple icon cards too! It's legible with the small text still and has a good appendix as well.

I'm not catholic, but I enjoy reading various bible translations. To my eye, this is an excellent example of a Catholic bible. It is a good quality book 📖 and highly portable. The cover feels like brushed silk yet durable. The paper looks very nice, clean, certainly better than expected for the price, and the print is crisp. All 73 books, in the Catholic order, are included. This is a first Catholic Edition of the RSV. So Isaiah 7:14 reads, "young woman" with *virgin* in the footnotes. There are additional notes in the appendices (one for the OT and one for the NT) that are fitting for a faithful Catholic. There is an explanatory introduction and a few preface statements explaining the Catholic faith. If you're looking for an inexpensive, portable, beautiful, good quality, Catholic bible, I recommend this one.

Really happily surprised. Beautiful hard cover, with golden ribbon. Good translation. Considering the low price, i'd consider this well invested.
