each container with a lid is 2.8 oz. I think that is what you were asking. The large compartment hold 16 oz or two cups and each of the two small compartments hold 8 oz or one cup each, in case that is what you meant. I love these for a left overs dinner that I can freeze or eat the next day by just microwaving it.

No! Do not microwave with the lid.

Q: Why can they only be used 10 times?

I’ve used mine more than 10 times. Hand washing instead of using the dishwasher prolongs their usage
