Moneysworth & Best Suede & Nubuck Protector, 5.6-Ounce

Just used this on new shearling moccasins. Excellent.

Today, nearly two years after my original review, I used Moneysworth & Best Suede & Nubuck Protector on a new pair of medium gray, nubuck, hi-top sneakers. They look fantastic! Will be ordering more protector soon to prepare other footwear for the upcoming fall and winter.- - -Today I sprayed a brand new pair of SARTO gray suede tall boots. I was very, very nervous because I love these beautiful boots, but I live in the snowy and wet Midwest and need to protect them. After spraying the boots with Moneysworth & Best Suede & Nubuck Protector, the boots darkened for mere seconds, then immediately began to return to their original look. *whew!* I gave the boots 3 goods coats of Protector before the can emptied. Now that the boots are dry, they look just like they did when they came out of the box. The boots did not even require brushing after waterproofing. The suede is still soft and supple and beautiful.There is no rain or snow to test the the boots in today, but I tested with drops of water. It immediately beads up.I could not be happier with the Moneysworth & Best Suede & Nubuck Protector.

the waterpoofing works fine but its a temporary spray that you have to keep reapplying every month or 2 which means it wears off easiliy.it also tends to spray with spurts and the nozzle drips if you spray in a waving motion.I would recommend a more permanent brush on waterproofing for long time use. this is good for suede that you don't wear that much like costumes or special occasions.

The best suede spray for any suede shoe/boot. I use this on my Uggs and it's the perfect protectant. I did a total of 3 coats on each boot. I don't worry when wearing my boots out in the rain or snow and no worry about the salt in the winter time. I will continue to buy this product and recommend to friend and family.

I just received this and applied it to my nubuck leather walking boots. After drying, I dropped droplets of water on the treated nubuck leather, and the droplets stayed on the surface of the boots and weren't absorbed. I didn't notice any color difference after applying the spray, and I had given the boots a good cleaning and brushing before applying the spray. But it says to use a nubuck brush to restore the texture or nap, however, luckily I started this on the part of the boot underneath the laces. I could see tiny scratched lines of color variation caused by the brush bristles. So, I brushed it to an even color all around, reapplied the spray, and it was fine. I haven't used the nubuck brush on the boots anywhere else, and probably won't for six months or until I need apply the spray again.

I’ve used leather protectors many times and I’m not so sure if they work or not

I have been buying this for almost a year now. I use it on all my shoes, my bags and even some of my jackets. It works so well. I have used it on leather and some cloth. It’s never altered the color (and I recently sprayed a pair of blue suede booties) and holds up against stains and water. I have some very expensive shoes and bags I want to keep in good shape so I was worried to spray them and darken them at first. But, it’s never happened! If I worried it worked or not it was definitely proven to me today when I looked outside after it had started snowing. I saw the foot prints at first and was very puzzled. Then I remembered I sprayed my shoes yesterday morning before I leave for a trip tonight.
