I'm very glad I purchased this product, after recently suffering with a back injury I was using zip lock bags to fill with ice but quickly got fed up with the condensation/leaking soaking clothes/bedding over time. I did also want to move away from single/few use plastics and get something I can keep permanently for future use.I went with the medium (8 inch) which has worked well and holds a deceptively large number of ice cubes and I think is a good all-rounder size for a first aid box, however I propbably would have gotten the largest size in hindsight for my back injury. Small/medium would likely be best suited for limb/head injuries.The design (banana) is cute and the material is good quality. I saw a few reviews stating that the bag doesn't adjust in shape around injuries well and others saying that the cold doesn't come through the bag much, but personally I found the bag to very easily fit around limbs/back and the cold came through quickly.

I purchased this to make the hourly icing easier following foot surgery. It was the perfect size to sit on my ankle to relieve swelling. Just 1/4 fill with cold water and pop in some ice cubes & it will then mould around your ankle (or knee/wrist).

The product is good and so far no leaking which was my main concern, however I struggle to put the ice in because of the slightly narrow opening. I have to admit though that I American size ice-cubes which are probably a bit bigger than the usual European size.

So I bought this product as I have been having blinding headaches which I thought were Migraine , painkillers didn't help and after 5 days I realised that it was nerve damage in my neck call Occipatal Neuralgia. Cooling sprays and cooling gels on the neck at the base of my skull did help but was pretty temporary respite . Ice packs were my next thought . Many modern ice packs from high street sellers are useless based on freezing a gel like pack in freezer then using . This Neotech ice bag is much much more practical . It has a large opening which screws tight to prevent leaks so you can get pretty decent sized ice cubes loaded up no problem whatsoever the 17 cm (small ) is plenty big enough for head , neck , elbow lower back or whatever . The 17 cm model takes quite a few ice cubes1 It is well made definately does not leak when the cubes have melted and does the job . I bought a couple of large bags of ice at £1 each to refill it as you will use quite a few to ease your aches or pain .Very definately a worthwhile buy and can be dried out and stored easily in your first aid box untill needed . Wish I had bought one years ago for all those university hangovers I inexplicably had ! .Buy one its nicely made , great value (£6.50) and should be something that lasts for years , It has not fixed my injury but it really is effective at giving me respite from it .

Bought this originally for my husband who was undergoing a procedure where he'd need to ice an awkward and delicate place frequently for 5-7 days 😅 A normal gel like ice pack wasn't going to do it. Especially as we'd likely need a few to keep rotating them through the freezer, and they were about the same price as this. I bought the 12cm one, and it was perfect.I took the advice from someone else's review to add some water to the ice pack to help it conform to those odd places you need to ice - like a knee or elbow etc - and if you add a little bit of salt, this thing keeps things cold for hours! I was more concerned that it would leak, especially because it was going to be partially sat on, but it doesn't build up condensation on the outside, and even while fairly full (our mistake until we figured out how much ice he needed in the pack for comfort) it didn't leak at all. We have a toddler, so this will be reused countless times I'm sure. But even if not, it was far more economical, convenient and comfortable to use than a typical gel ice pack, so we definitely got our moneys worth.

I used it for headaches/migraines. It does need icecubes though as doesn't feel very cold with just water. Good quality!

Bought a bigger one as reviews said they wish they got a bigger one, I got the bione and could have done with a smaller one, all depends what you want it for I suppose, but it seems well made, not ised it yet. I am the sort of person that likes to be prepared just in case

Much better than anticipated. I have very large ice cube moulds, but by only filling them halfway the cubes go in the opening OK. Appears to be strong material. Good price. UPDATE. Wrote above before I had cause to use it. Badly damaged foot ankle to toes in accident and needed cold compresses. Took ages for coldness to penetrate material and very awkward to keep in place unless you are able to hold it, eg on head or neck etc. will have to do bit more research

This ice bag is very good. It’s a little larger than most ice bags (though smaller than the photo suggests) and fits easily around the ankle. Watertight and excellent stopper. The skin is a little fragile so I wouldn’t try to bang it in the counter to break up ice inside it.

Just fill with ice and ready to go. Comes with a strap that can be used on knees, arms or wrists

Loved the look, feel and seal on the bag. No condensation unlike many others of this style. Well insulated and kept ice frozen for quite a while. Opening is small so you can only put on a cube at a time but that likely helps keep it well sealed. Best ice bag/cooling bag we’ve had and have used it for two post op rehab sessions on replaced joints.

I have almost gross swelling in my foot and both of knees. I first bought 2 of these straps and 2 ice bags. I can't tell you how much I love these straps and how versatile they are. You can pretty much wrap any appendage on your body with these straps with or without using an ice bag with it. The velcro holds strong where you put it plus you have the option to use an ice bag with it if needed. I can put ice bags on my swollen knees and still work around the house. The ice bag won't slip out of place. If you need heat fill the bag with hot water so it's like wearing a heating pad with a cord to contend with. Finally a way to treat your aches and pains but not be stuck sitting in bed or couch. I went back and bought two more of these straps. You can wrap them on most size aches be it your knees, ankle, elbow or head. I recommend them whole heartedly. Great produce and about time for one.
