Favorite Natural Food Dye
Love these for natural dyes for baking for my kids as we do not use food dyes. Less vibrant than fake dyes but worth it to not have the chemicals.

These are very light colored but good
These do not darken to a bright color no matter how much I add. I used the entire bottle of red in 1.5 cups of royal icing and never got deeper than a pink color.Outside of the light color, these worked well and were easy to blend in. They didn’t have any flavor and the kids loved using them.

Works great for light natural shades, except the blue
The pink worked great for light pinks, but the blue required a great deal of food coloring to move even slightly past a sea foam green in my buttercream frosting. The blue was a true blue when used in fondant. So it depends on your application. In my purple fondant pieces I mistakenly mixed red and blue, but pink and blue make a much prettier purple and is what I used in the buttercream. All in all it's over priced for poor color saturation, but has its applications. I needed an allergy safe, natural food coloring and made due.

Very poor color retention after baking
Colors looked OK when mixed directly into batter or frosting, not as vibrant and a little 'off' but tolerableAfter baking in the oven colora faded so much my 3 year old couldn't tell the yellow from orange from red in our rainbow cake. Stay away

Amazing color saturation from natural dye
As someone who has a severe food dye allergy, I have tried several different natural alternatives. There is a reason this one sells out so quickly from chef mate, baking stores and Amazon. It has no taste and incredible color quality. The size of the bottles is very easy to use. It’s very versatile and can be blended easily

Not even close to the desired color
Wanted to try natural dyes for use in royal icing. These bottles are miniscule and expensive. After using more than twice what I would use with my current brand, I has a weak color that was not close to the desired final color.

Asked for
It's a gift that was specifically asked for by a serious cottage industry bakery, so you know it's good.

Good but not great
They work okay, red is almost impossible to achieve.
