There is the shrink wrap that just shrinks to the wire/connector, then there is the kind like this one, that also glues itself in place! It appears to be made out of a quality material, with a good amount of thickness to do the job. All you gotta do is select the right size you need, slip it on there, then turn on the heat gun, and within seconds, it shrinks down.Some people use a lighter or torch to shrink wrap, I don't recommend that, as you could burn the wire in the process. It is better to use a heat gun, then you can get more even distribution of heat, without damaging the wire. I've used a couple different sizes so far, and its been working out great for me. The glue seems to make a good seal, which should improve water proofing. Highly recommended. 5 out of 5 stars!

They work great, they shrink very well, and they hold things in place. Plus the case they put them in, yeah, it will NEVER pop open on you by accident. I seriously use a screw driver to open it. I really love that aspect because I've had other packs open and go everywhere. Love these.

Was looking for heat shrink to be able to submerge in my fuel tank for my fuel pump. This worked great and hasn't came loose or had any issues in the 2 years I've been running it.
