Headlight switch for 2000 TJ
As per Youtube video, easy as can be to install. Correct part, solved the flickering on off problem with getting lights to function, Just used a Phillips screw driver 6x and that was it. Arrived the next day which was great.

Works Great
In this modern world of high tech electronic cars, being able to fix something like this a breath of fresh air. All told it took about 15-20 minutes to swap out and the switch is good as new. I cant imagine how much this would have cost on my wifes Acura.....

Fixed my 99 Jeep TJ!
Perfect fit in my 99 TJ. Fixed all of my weird lighting issues I was experiencing. No wonder as when I opened the dash to replace the old switch, it was caked in funk and two terminals were broken off into the plug.

Appears to only work a couple weeks then failed.
I had intermittent gauge functioning on a 96 Jeep Cherokee. According to all information I could get, the likely problem was a bad headlight switch. After trying this theory, no gauges, fiddling with the pull knob on the headlight switch, the gauges would come back on. I tried this several times and it appeared that the headlight pull knob had a direct affect on my gauges. So, I bought this new headlight switch. Installed it, a bit of a complicated task, and things seem to work fine. About two weeks later, the same problem has reoccurred. No gauges, or partial gauge cluster i.e. everything but the speedometer and tach would be working. Same thing, I pulled the lights on play with the knob in different positions and different pressures, and my gauges would come on. They would only last a few minutes until they go back out, play with the pull switch again, back on, Then again back off. Of course, I’m pass my 30 day return on the switch. I’ll try one more new switch, as all comments regarding this problem points at the headlight switch. At this time I can only assume that the new switch, this one, that I replaced may be faulty.**UPDATE. I’ve checked with others and apparently there could be a problem with the electrical hook-up loom. So I’ll tear the dash down n check. Maybe I was to quick to judge, but, if the original and replacement switch act the same, odds are it’s not the switch!!! So I would like to reevaluate my option on the replacement switch. It looks good, we’ll made, good materials. It did fit and hook-up as it should and it probably a functional switch. I’ll keep lookig for the culprit….
