Car manufacturers typically install long-life headlight bulbs, because they don't want them failing under warranty. The downside to long-life bulbs is they have a lower light output than even standard bulbs. My ten-year-old Toyota still had the factory-fitted H11 bulbs installed. In my experience with both a Toyota and a Hyundai, H11 headlights are below average in performance. I found driving on two-lane country roads at night, especially if it was raining, borderline dangerous with my old bulbs. After I installed these Hella H11 2.0TB bulbs, the difference was like night and day. The colour output is whiter, but most importantly, the light output is much greater than the original bulbs. I've only had the bulbs installed for a couple of weeks, so can't comment on their lifespan.

I find these comparable to the GE NightHawk Platinum bulbs. These might be just slightly whiter. I would expect 2.5-3 years of life out of these. These are not as white as the mostly illegal LEDs sold on Amazon that people use on the road anyway nor are they as white as HIDs. They are not going to be since these are halogen, but they work well in halogen headlight reflector housings with clean lenses designed for halogen bulbs. The light is white with just a slight hint of yellow and shines far down the road. The color is great for snow, rain, and fog whereas super white LEDs look like you are at hyperspace on the Millennium Falcon.

Good product from a good company. Needed a replacement and was looking into LED and noticed lack of DOT approvals on the LED bulbs that were on my list. Provides ample white light at its burning temperature.

After 6 years of use, the original equipment driver's side low beam headlight bulb (H11 Osram brand) gave up the ghost in my 2017 Ford Transit Connect. I did not want to "upgrade" to LED lights which are not supposedly road legal, so I decided to buy these two Hella H11 bulbs and replace both the driver's side and passenger side low beam bulbs to make sure the light output was equal on both sides. I ordered them at 10:00 P.M., they were delivered at 12:45 A.M. the next day, and it took just 20 minutes to replace both old bulbs with the new Hella bulbs. I have had prior good experience with Hella products, and these were certainly priced competitively with other reliable brands (Phillips, Sylvania). Installation in this vehicle was easy and required no tools, just a bit tricky aligning the tabs on the bulb in the light housing, as you cannot see directly but must do so by feel. These replacement Hella bulbs seem notably brighter and whiter than the old Osram bulbs they replaced. I don't know at this point how long these Hella bulbs will last, just have to find that out eventually. When it comes time to replace the high beam headlight bulbs, I will certainly consider the Hella brand again.

Waste of money, they are no brighter or whiter than stock or Sylvania basics. Spring for Sylvania silverstar ultras, closet you'll find to LEDs in a Halogen bulb

This h11 bulb is by far the most long lasting low beam headlight bulb I have ever experienced,And the brightness is on par with sylvania silver star if not better!!And I have used a lot of different brands like sylvania all of their h11 series, few led’s too,I drive mostly at night in the city, which means 6 plus hours of runtime 6 days a week..This bulb lasted more than 2 months before start showing dimming!!!Double the life than sylvania silverstar,Hope this brand stays committed to quality in the future.Oh yeah I run these in my accord 2017 ex 2.4l.

The installation was easy and they work well.

Not brighter than OEM halogen bulb as advertised. The same brightness. Not brighter. Good if you are looking for same OEM bulb’s brightness. In the picture, the passenger side is the Hella bulb and the driver side is the OEM Honda Civic bulb. No difference at all.
