ours is attached to a strong oak beam, as long as you have a good secure beam it should be fine

Q: How much weight could this carry?

The chair takes my 13 yr old granddaughter or her mother no problem. Make sure you buy a strong bracket and chain though and secure to good beam

Q: Does this work with any ceiling

Sure but you will need to ensure a strong fixing of course. World need to be stalled to a metal beam or very strong hooks into a wooden beam

Q: Would it fit on a steel swing seat frame

You may need to buy a suitable bracket and possibly a chain.
