I love the 200
Extremely portable, great quality, just enough light, and I use this for fill light. I regularly use this in my lastolite and have used it as a mainlight with a small rapid octabox.

What a 'pocket' wonder!
I am very please with Flashpoint eVOLV 200 Pro /Godox ad200 pro. I used to carry around heavy duty strobes, 600 w/s a pub, normal shot will take 3~4 strobes. If the studio is on the 3rd floor, you can imagine the pain. Then, here comes this little pocket wonder that actually replaced my 600 w/s strobes. Now, I pack the entire studio light set into 1 camera bag, and I don't have to pull wires on site anymore. I can also use strobe outdoor... I can go on and on... I have not tried out all the potentials yet.The power source, one charge, let me shoot 700 shots non-stop, granted that the battery is still fairly new and I am using 1/2 power, manual. With eTTL pre-flash, it may not last as much, but I don't like to use eTTL when it comes to strobe. I am old school on this one, manual all the way, with a strobe meter and the whole nine bit. During Black Friday Sales, I got one set from Amazon, one Godox AD200pro from the B shop, then falling in love with it and getting one more Flashpoint from the A shop :-) and still loving it.The control on the transmitter is functional and thoughtful 'somewhat'. Coming from Pocket Wizard, it is not all that intuitive to me initially, but it is definitely worth the investment. I also mix and match with the Godox v860ii c/s/o, as fill lights. They all work seamlessly as ONE system. Thus far, I have not seen any system flash offer this level of integration and compatibilities across that wide spectrum. Is it truly no compromise... well, not 100.00000%. With my old strobe at 600 w/s, I figured I only use 1/3 of the power most of the time, meaning that the full power of 1 eVolv 200 is able to satisfy my normal setting. What if I need more 200 w/s, here comes AD-B2 adapter, which effectively gives me 400 w/s, combining two eVolv with 2 bare bulbs. With that, the Flashpoint /Godox system replace 99.99% of the functionalities of my good old 600 w/s.To me, this is a game changer and definitely highly recommended!

One of the best portable flashes ever made
I'm sure this flash changed photography. This kind of flashes opened the door to modern photography, very small, lightweight, VERY powerful, versatil and always works. I even broke my unit (it fell down in a shoot) and was able to repair it easily myself.

Great Product
What a great product this is! I wish I'd bought it sooner; It addresses the frustrating issue of never having enough power onboard my camera when shooting daytime, outdoor events.I bought it along with its flashhead extension. I used an old, slung camera bag to hold the bulkier bits of the setup while mounting the flashhead itself onto my camera using an L bracket. Radio triggers used for firing; masking taped onto the device so the radio doesn't knock around while I move.Along with a beauty dish, I also recently made use of it as a portable monolight during a portrait shoot.Versatile product and a great addition to my kit.

My favorite flash.
I love this flash unit! Purchased for use in my real estate business, and this thing lasts all day! Even shooting multiple houses at full power. Well worth the money!

The only flash you need
Bought this to use with my Canon R5. It has surpassed my expectations and I use this for photo shoots all the time. It has alot of power, so I believe this would be all you need. It is a bit heavy to haul on top of other camera gear but it does come with its own little compact case. So easy to use.

The system that allows you to grow
As a previous professional photographer I wish there were lights like this when I ran my business. I originally purchased the Neewer light that is similar to this. The lack of a barebulb and the reviews of communication issues between the light and master made me question why I didn't just spend the extra 100 dollars to get something that is more useful and has a proven track record- so I shipped back the neewer and got the flashpoint- It is an amazing piece of equipment.

Game-changing light for location work
This is a game-changing product: light, powerful, easy to control, and comes with stuff that doesn't come with the Godox-branded product (which I also own) - most importantly real support from Adorama because Godox provides zero support in my experience. This is a major comfort factor.I can do on-location headshots all day long with these and not change a battery and never have to run an extension cord. My only issue has been occasional failure to fire, maybe 2 to 4 in 50 shots. I have updated firmware yet though, also I just got the R2 trigger but have not used it yet, so we'll see.Interestingly, I have yet to use the speedlight head - I use these in softboxes and I get more even light with the bulb so dispense with the extra internal diffuser making the power difference moot.I also love the grid and magnetic color correction filters Adorama includes - these don't come with the Godox version.
