Best bags ever nice and thick

I ordered these bags (8” x 8”) for using with clear color mason jars (32 oz) for my Kratky hydroponic gardening since there is a shortage of amber color mason jars during the pandemic. The bags serve to keep light out of the jars which is necessary for this type of gardening. I secured the bag to the jar with a rubber band around the neck of the jar. I can still see through the bag enough to determine if I need to add water. Works out perfectly!

Best price on amazon! Blocks light as intended,Not a complete airtight seal on some bags but can't really complain. Gets the job done in most cases.

Frustratingly, neither of my wholesale distributors seem to carry anything like this. Thankfully, this Amazon seller does. This is a repeating purchase for us. We often send home liquid medications in small yorker bottles (we're a vet clinic). This bag takes care of light sensitivity and there's enough room to pop in the medicine & dosing syringe. Plus the medication labels stick smoothly to the bag instead of wrapping all wrinkled and unsatisfying on the yorker itself.

I use these bags to store negatives and treated paper for cyanotypes.Good size, good thickness.

These are not light tight at all. I can’t dispute the UV protection rating they give, but given that they advertise useful for shipping photographic film, this is misleading at best and outright lying at worst.As shown in the review photo, these are shockingly clear and I can see my hand through them with even the mildest reflection from the countertop behind it.

I was looking for small plastic bags for disposing of sanitary items. These bags were exactly what I needed. The right size and shape, and easy to open. I'll order them again when I need to.

The size for these are great. I use them to protect my collectibles from being damaged during storage from the sun. Can see through the bag just slightly so you know whats inside.
