it won't be difficult to find other clips that are the exact same use. These aren't the once to get. First off the clips are separate from the "3M" tape squares so you have to separate the tiny squares and then peel off the red backing plastic that apparently is stuck to the only side that's actually sticky bc it's nearly impossible to peel it off. And then when you finally do get everything put together the "3M" tape won't stick to anything and falls off whatever you're trying to apply the clip to. So, all you have a black tiny clip that's less sticky than a post it note. Go find another brand on here, you can thank me later..

I bought these to run a coax cable for my modem over the door frame so that I didn't have to worry about tripping. They worked perfectly. Then I found myself starting to use them in other places, like on the back edge of a bookshelf to keep the small paper lamp on it from tumbling off, or on nightstands to keep phone charger cables from falling. I ended up using these so much that I had to buy a second pack.My biggest advice for these? Go buy the tiny command strips with a pull tab for removal to use with these. Don't use the provided adhesive unless you know beyond a shadow of a doubt you'll never need to reposition them again or otherwise remove them. The small command strips are too big, but you can trim to fit (I did not trim to fit, I didn't care enough to do so), just don't trim the pull tab that's used for removal. Using the command strips, my little clips stayed up just fine, then when I moved they came off the wall with no damage and I was able to put them up again at my new place.These clips are very small. They can fit one coax cable at most, or two phone charger cables, or one light cord. If you need a clip that can hold multiple cables that are bigger than phone charger cables, these clips are not it.The coax cable will stretch the clips, which means that any clips used with the coax cable probably won't hold smaller cables or cords effectively if you're reusing them for something other than a coax.
