It did what was advertised. It wasn't the best quality and if leaks a little if you are not careful. Do be careful using as you are working with sulfuric acid.

Does exactly what it should, reads specific gravity of batteries. I use this for testing industrial forklift battery specific gravity, and this gives a lot more accurate reading than those that give a gravity range. If you are wanting to do load testing and charging on a battery while monitoring specific gravity to see if the fluid is holding charge as it should, this will do what you are wanting it to do.

Works as it is supposed to.

The only thing required for assembly is to insert the rubber dip tube into the end of the large plastic tube. When I did that the tube split 3 inches up the side making it totally useless.

Helps tell the truth about the status of the individual cells in your battery.Especially if you have a golf cart with 6 batteries. I was able to Isolate it down to two bad batteries. This way i didn’t have to replace all the batteries because of not knowing which one(s) are bad.
