A-Premium Power Window Regulator with Motor Replacement for Mini Cooper 2002-2005 Front Left Driver Side

I have a 2006 and it was a nightmare to try to fix. They don't sell the regulator/motor combo anymore, and 2006 is slightly different than 2002-2005. But the only difference is how the motor connects to the regulator. As long as you get a 2005 regulator/motor combo, it will bolt in as a single unit with no issues.The only weird thing on mine was that the rear arm was a little bit (3mm) long. I had to modify the shim on the bottom. But that will likely be slightly different on each car. It certainly wasn't difficult to fix.It works exactly as expected. Auto-down and everything.

1st time installing a window regulator, my passenger window regulator was broken, this regulator fixed my issue, I watched videos on replacing regulator, took me about two hours to replace, great part at a good price.

I expected it to be less perfect than the OEM Mini part. It fit 'mostly' the same into the opening (just a little tight). Until then it was a 4 star. But, today it dropped the window into the opening. Removing it from the car one of the cable ends had let go, and the motor wound up all the cable in a mess. Garbage now, and I have to do all the labor again with a new part. It won't be another from this company. You get what you pay for, and in this case it was a cheap part with even cheaper quality. Don't buy it.

Have replaced these half a dozen times and there's always some oddity with replacements; motor doesn't line up, screws don't line up, or they fail QUICKLY. This one works great, fits perfect, and is still going. If you need one for an 02 Cooper, get it from these guys.

After installing in 2003 mini copper after only a few weeks, the regulator failed and I had to order a replacement and reinstalled it.My worry is the quality because it stated it is up to OEM specs or better but it didn’t even last a few week. I also replaced the passenger side and it is starting to give me issues but since that was installed much earlier I am out of Amazon return date.It states it has 1 year warranty with the seller and I have been talking with them, but I find it a bit frustrating so many questions.If I would have bought it in my local Autozone and needed to replace a defective part they have life time warranty and don’t ask any questions they just replace it.

This product is decent quality for a decent price. It fit as it should have, and the installation was not too difficult. The problems I had with this product were all self inflicted. First, I ordered the part for the passenger side when what I needed was the driver side. Amazon’s easy return and replacement process saved the day. Then when I plugged the unit in and up was down and down was up, I was heart broken. After I few bad wards, I unplugged the wire from the car to the motor, and noticed someone before me had reversed the wires on the factory plug. A little soldering and heat shrink tubing and all was right with the world again, at least that is what I thought. After reassembling the door and getting all the plastic trim pieces put back in, I realized the I was missing a screwdriver and a flashlight. I looked for them thinking maybe I had put them away already. Then I noticed the car window had an unusual glow. Well fudge! I put the door panel back on with a few tools stowed for the road inside the door. 30 minutes and two broken and replaced trim clips later, I finally declared victory. This product does what it is intended to do. I wish my feeble mind worked as well as this new window regulator.

Other than trying to remove the old unit with the window stuck all the way up, the replacement went in without any problems. I should have made a video of how it get the broken unit out with the window stuck up.

My daughter watched a couple of YouTube videos and installed it on her 2005 Mini Cooper convertible.No instruction come with the window regulator but YouTube saved the day!
