Best for slime
I've tried a lot of other slimes for my students to experience chemical reactions, and this seems to work the best. I tried the Amazon glue and it was okay, but the slimes turned out really rubbery. The CraZ-Art is just trash for making slime according to the majority of my students and my daughter. This is nice for 2 gallons, but I think you can get a better deal at Target these days (more teacher salary friendly option).

For refills ...
Bought this for refilling the kids smaller bottles. Crazy how much glue they use in school these days!It is Elmer’s , so it is effective, easily pulls off fingers, chairs, and walls (thankfully!). Honestly I personally feel it does hold up better than the cheaper glue - nothing worse than watching a young child cry because his Mother’s Day present falls all apart, or having a teenager that no matters how hard he tried cannot get his toothpick bridge to stick together long enough to be handed in.I am all for saving money, but some places you just have to keep an eye out for sales, or suck it up like the rest of us! Lol!Seriously though IF you have a kid who can actually come home with a bottle that needs refilling, & have room to store this big bottle (which surprisingly you will not actually need for anything around the house as long as it is in the pantry, and not until you run out) then buy it, because it does in the long run save you money; However if you have one of those kids (I have a couple) who just can not seem to hold onto a bottle of glue long enough to get a refill, and you’re not making that “slime” whith the starch mixture then a gallon of school glue is overkill!I DO recommend this big bottle- as long as it is actually useful to you,&I hope my review is helpful to you!

Great product, but.....
I have nothing against the glue itself, it's a very large amount for a very cheap price. However, it's the packing of the glue and the shipment that I have a real problem with. So far, I've ordered two bottles, and both of them have had leaks. Also, the second bottle's box looked like it had been mauled by a dog. It was taped all around instead of the standard amazon tape job, and also it was crunched.I use the glue for making slime and it works very well for that job.

BEST QUALITY SCHOOL GLUE!
As a "professional" slimer (Is that even a thing? Ha!) I have been using this Elmers School Glue for over a year now for my slimes in my slime shop (SlimeClouds on Etsy) and throughout the year I have tried different brands of school glue but NONE compare to Elmers' quality. This school glue is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE for slime. It is easy and even fun to make slime with this glue! Definitely the best to make slime. Throughout the year I have probably bought over 30 gallons of this school glue....thats how much I use it and love it. (Note: Personally I use this SPECIFIC version of their glue, the "school glue" and NOT the "Glue All"...I didnt like the "Glue All" for slime...its too dense)
