I won't reveal too much, but this movie has fantastic acting and touches on real life subjects.

I loved this movie! As much as one can enjoy and embrace a story; true life story, of families who are struggling to maintain healthy marriage and families while serving God and country. In America, that goes together. Our founding fathers knew the need to acknowledge our creators guidance through all venues we deal with and face. Protecting our minds, hearts, bodies and souls is God's job. Ours is to serve Christ in all we do. I am thankful to have viewed a movie based on true events. I believe each actor, especially the smallest and youngest, did a great job insuring these characters came to life and leaving the incredible mark of truth and love in the heart of each viewer. I am aware there are critics and there always will be. However all perspectives can be represented here and each viewer decides for themselves. A movie this rich in scripture, truth and love will surmount the naysayers. I recommend viewing this movie with an open mind and heart. Surely God's Holy Spirit led this production and Actors and Actresses. Surely God is pleased and Jesus was represented here. I long for a society of humans to finally and thoroughly understand that following Christ does not make us superheroes or mini Gods, but people who put their trust in Jesus to help us love better, to help us trust Him more than ourselves. Yes, we mess up, we make mistakes but ultimately Christ is the only one who can heal, deliver and make something great come from those issues. We are in spiritual warfare, in an unseen war people! Satan is real and powerful to deceive. Christ warned all who would listen that satan only comes to steal, kill and destroy. God built America to display His goodness and love. Of course other nations will rail against what God has put together and when men and women are called to defend today, just as God called others to defend Israel, there will be a price to pay. Serving God in any venue requires faith in Christ. That service will be tested. Listen to what the very wise wife stated towards the end of the movie. She made very life changing remarks. They are true. This movie may just be one small seed of truth and understanding in many lives, but it is a good seed. The cinematography and music was great. The movie flowed well and at the end the viewer gets to see photos and info. of and about the real family. I love the diversity of cast. No racism here. Enjoy! You will cry but know that makes you compassionate and that is good. You will get angry but that shows you care. You will be inspired. Inspired to pray for and throughout the lives of military families. Your eyes will be opened and that is always good. We can become insulated in our lives and families to the point we are not as equipped as we need to be, to serve Jesus in every way. Prayer is powerful and huge and every prayer is held by God in a huge bowl in heaven. Look it up. Book of Revelation. Hug a soldier today. Hug a soldiers wife and/or kids, and remember to sow seeds of love and prayer in their lives today. God bless! :)

The movie covers military family life. It shows how military units become a family as well as their dependents, back home. It deals with the life of a military chaplain, his unit, his dependents & their neighbors. I appreciate the depiction of God's influence on different characters as their lives are changed by military life. It's based on a true story.

Excellent telling of a true story. It has ups and downs that are realistic for a couple experiencing the events they go through. Not everything goes as we plan, but with faith in God things do turn out for the best in accordance to following God's will in your life.

I absolutely love this movie, very good actors, you won't want to move from the couch at all. I've already watched it 3xs now.

Just a beautiful story and book about Army chaplain. He struggles with PTSD after coming home, but through his Faith in God and his devoted wife, he overcomes and triumphs!

Excellent movie with Truth

The film had an authentic thread and the actors and actresses played their roles well. The only downside was the diction of the lead actor he mumbled quite a bit.
