Great ramps. Handle my CVO easily. Design is not well thought out with hinge sitting proud right where tires ride up and down. I modified by cutting hinges off and bolting two halves together. Works great now. Very light and strong

This ramp is nice and wide so I can ride my motorcycle up onto my trailer and sit on it while I roll off. I saw one reviewer complaining about the hing being on the wrong side, and agree, but for different reasons. The design would seem to want to fold when you put weight in the center, as the other reviewer pointed out. But that would only be the case if the ends weren't on the ground and supported on your trailer/truck. But they are, or should be, so the middle of the ramp has no downward direction to move, at least if the ramp is being properly used. The physics are different and this is a non-issue. However, I'd like to see the hinge on the opposite side so you don't have to lumps dead center of the surface you are riding up. It's a sturdy ramp and doesn't flex at all when I ride my 500lb motorcycle up it. Folds well and fits in my trailer. In my opinion ramps are stupid expensive, but this one was worth the money.

As a 65 year old, I recently moved from California to Texas. I was able to load and unload my 2015 Harley Ultra Limited into my 5 x 8 utility trailer by myself. I used ratchet straps to anchor the ramp on the outside corners to make sure the ramp did not move. I rode my nearly 900lb motorcycle slowly up the ramp without a problem. The ramp stayed put with plenty of room for my feet to steady it. I pulled it from California to Texas and unloaded my bike by myself. I stored the ramps across the front of my trailer with a ratchet strap and was very pleased with the weight and quality of this ramp.

I love this ramp. Having previously built several ramps over the years I was pleasantly surprise at the quality of the one I received. Way to go guys! We use it for Harley baggers. They're heavy. This ramp is rock solid. It weighs less than 1/2 what our old ramp did and like it has no perceivable flex when loading. None. It's nice that it folds in half. That makes it much less awkward to handle when placing it or storing it. The ramp is all welded construction. The welds look very good. All the cross pieces you step on, and that the bike tires run on are ribbed aluminum extrusions. They provide good traction for the bike tires and your boot soles. The spacing of the cross pieces is close enough that you never worry about getting a boot caught in the ramp. Very good design. Someone spent a lot of time getting it right. Lastly the ramp I received was American made. The quality of mine is excellent. Great price, good engineering, and American made how often do you see that? What's not to love?

I purchased the ramp to get my very heavy bagger (1000 lb with rider) into my shed-- rise to shed was 18 inches and I got the 7 foot ramp. The ramp is well built and the cross bars grooved which help give traction to the wheel with is especially nice. Moving up the ramp there is a small amount of flex but not too much. The "teeth" at the upper end are a great addition for hanging onto the edge of things and the straps which you use to stabilize the ramp are versatile and workable. My two suggestions or concerns are: 1. Why build the ramp so it fold lengthwise in the direction of the largest load i.e. up. So when you drive up the center of the ramp, if not secured at both ends, it tend to want to fold a bit into a V. This can be dealt with easily but seem if it were designed to fold the other way this would make it more stable. Not a deal breaker by any means- just wondering. 2. This ramp seems to be designed for 4 wheelers more than cycles-- the center ramp (the very part cyclist would want to drive on) has 2 1/2 X 3 inch hinges which project upwards causing the wheels to deflect when they strike them- a bit-- unnerving in some cases tho not again a deal breaker-- maybe solved by addressing concern number 1. Generally comments--it is surprising how narrow the ramp look when you are driving up and backing down a ramp you cannot really see well is also a bit unnerving (neither a fault of the ramp BTW). Backing my Electra glide down the ramp- with my overbike leg spread- I have a margin of error of about 5+ inches on each side, care is required to stay centers (problem #2). Since this is a daily exercise I will get used to it I hope. Living and learnin as they say. Update-- the hinges finally got me. I dropped my electra glide backing down the ramp on a day where there was dew on the ramp. The bike wheel hit the hinges, kicked to the side and literally forced my foot to slip off to the side and off the ramp and since grooves on the ramp run parallel to the long axis of the crossbars they are like ice when wet.. The ramp grooves help with traction up the ramp but nothing (like crosshatching) is there to prevent slipping to the side. Again the design of hinges on top is a problem ( and initiated the slip) and if the ramp is at all wet it is extremely easy to slip sideways and drop a heavy bike. Well built but in need of some design changes or for 4 wheeled use.

The Summary: I bought this to solve the problem of loading my scooter onto my trailer by myself. I tried single ramps and it was challenging at best, scary at worst. With this ramp you can walk the bike up the ramp at any speed you want without having to rocket up the ramp. (search youtube for "loading motorcycle fail") You can even stop halfway up. The ramp seems to be sturdily constructed. It weighs as much as one of those Little Giant step ladders but is easier to carry. I loaded my scooter with it and also my ATV. Unlike single ramps when loading a 4 wheel vehicle there is no adjusting necessary. Just lay it on the end of the trailer, open it up like a book and drive up. Don't forget the safety straps. The Details: Before purchasing make sure that you are buying the correct length of ramp based on your trailer height, the wheelbase of your bike and the ground clearance of your bike. There are calculators on the web to help you with this. My scooter has a low clearance so I got a 7 foot long ramp. This is a trailer loading ramp. There are much longer ramps available for loading onto a pickup. If your front wheel chock is dead center on your trailer deck then you might need to offset the ramp slightly since the hinges are in the center of the ramp and stick up at least half an inch. Not a big deal. Also the ramp sticks up slightly where it hooks onto the trailer so you might have to shove it over the hump when backing down. Lastly, since the ramp is so wide it's important that it is on level ground across the entire width, otherwise it will rock and try to fold when you apply weight. a level parking lot should be no problem but if you are unloading the quad at a campground you might need to plan ahead for an unloading area; or bring a shovel to level the high spots.

Great ramp! I researched all the ramps and liked how the crossbars are closer together on this brand. I believe that makes it much safer because it’s less likely your foot can go through while loading a motorcycle. Even with more material, the ramp is still very light. I have used it to load small scooters and the largest touring bikes. There is no flex when loading the heaviest bikes It folds nicely for carrying in your truck or stowing in the garage. It includes two straps for securing to the trailer during loading and you can tie the folded ramp with them.

Works great! Open it up and 'snap' it on the trailer. Folds up flat to strap it on the trailer on in back of the pick-up. Very sturdy. If you have a double trailer you still only need one ramp to drive up one side or it's so easy to move the ramp over. Not as heavy as you'd think it needed to be. Again it's extremely sturdy.
