Goldfrank's Toxicologic Emergencies, Eleventh Edition 11th Edition

There are so many good things to say about this book that I wouldn’t know where to start. One thing that stands out is the authors clear ambition to not just report a lot of undigested data á la ”systematic review”, but to provide expert recommendations to guide the clincian in a field where hard evidence is a rare bird. The voice of Goldfrank speaks to the the reader in a clear editorial ”we” offering words of clinical wisdom. While I suspect that time will prove this voice wrong in some instances, it is always a welcom companion

Having practiced in emergency medicine in multiple vastly different geographic areas, this reference is a key to have available for the unusual toxicology cases.
