XDDesign Elle Fashion Anti-Theft Backpack Anthracite (Women's Bag)

We are taking a road trip later this year and I did not want to have to take my big purse. This bag is a great size. There is so much more room inside than I thought. Being able to have straps for a water bottle was a definite plus. I am not the tallest person and it sits on my back, not my butt, without having to add holes to the straps. I got the dark grey which looks gorgeous. I can’t wait to use this bag.

I am a rather petite woman, so this review will be coming from that perspective. I wanted a bag that I could use to carry all my essentials plus additional items, such as a portable battery, gimbal, small flashlight, etc. I've used crossbody bags that were compact enough to carry my small items in compartments, but I wanted a backpack so that it would even the weight out on both shoulders.Comfort: 3/5 starsThe backpack straps are adjustable and I love the way the bag feels on my back, but I did have to drill several additional holes to make the straps adjust shorter. Not all women want the backpack to hang low. Being as short as I am, even at the straps' shortest, the backpack hung below the belt area. The straps are comfortable enough, but for the amount of items I carry on the daily, they did start digging into my shoulders a bit from the weight. I purchased shoulder strap pads to address that issue. The bag itself feels sturdy and can handle the bulk.Space: 4/5 starsThe backpack is spacious for something so small. The garters inside keep my portable battery, flashlight, gimbal, and wires in place. I use the pockets for my wallet, and there is still plenty of inside space for my other items, which I placed in small makeup bags/containers so they aren't sprawled all over the bag. I do wish there were more pockets that are located higher, just so everything isn't sitting along the bottom.Security: 4/5 starsI feel very secure walking around with this backpack since the openings are hidden.The pocket along the bottom is a nice touch if all I want is to reach for my wallet or chapstick without having to dig through the bag, but the zipper opens a little too smoothly. I'm worried that with a bit of bulk inside the pocket, it would open on its own.I did have to add a few accessories to organize my small items and make the straps feel more comfortable, but overall, I like the bag and am looking forward to using it for everyday use, and while traveling.

This backpack is very cute. I’ve gotten sooo many compliments on it and I feel very safe traveling with this bag because there’s really no way to pick pocket it. It feels very sturdy and the pleather looks very nice.I didn’t give it 5 stars because the backpack is very stiff and so you can’t fit anything that isn’t exactly the size of the backpack and can’t stuff the backpack full of stuff like you can with other backpacks because of the size stiffness. I also accidentally scratched the backpack with my nails when opening the bag and a piece of the pleather came off. Was not too happy about how easily that happened, but I still really love the backpack.

I used this bag when I travelled to Israel-Jordan-Egypt. The design is great (you can put a lot of things in this bag), but I echo the sentiments of one review that durability is an issue. The faux leather near the zipper started to peel off 5 days after I started using it. I will still use the bag but not sure if it will last long. For the price, I felt like it’s not worth it.

I have a voucher discount for my next purchase if I buy another product in with them before December. I hope is working the discount but can't trust 100%.

Ich habe lange nach einem Rucksack gesucht, in dem meine Spiegelreflexkamera rein passt, der etwas stabil und gleichzeitig sicher ist. Einen Kamerarucksack wollte ich nicht, denn die sind zu groß und für Frauen auch nicht so schön. Für einen Berlintrip war ich deswegen auf der Suche nach einer Alternative. Und bisher hab ich den Kauf nicht bereut. Ich bekam meine Kamera und ein 2. Objektiv gut rein. Dazu meine Geldbörse und das Handy. Der Rucksack sieht nicht nach Kamera aus und in der U-Bahn konnte mir keiner unbemerkt was klauen. Ich kann den echt empfehlen. Es wäre schön wenn der Hersteller ihn für eine Kamera extra verbessern würde, bisschen mehr Polsterung oder was zum einlegen zum extra dazu kaufen oder so. Aber ansonsten bin ich zufrieden. Die Kamera war sicher verpackt, der Rucksack stört mich nicht und sitzt auch bequem. Und auch so kann man ihn als Handtasche durch seine geringe Größe benutzen.
