If you have blonde hair, you know the issues with having a brassy blonde. And we have all tried all the purple shampoos, but this one is the MVP. But you have to be careful because your hair can end up purple and or silver hair. Especially if you have any extensions in your hair, do not wash your extensions with this shampoo, they will stay purple! Learn from my mistakes lol Use the sparingly when you start, only keep on for a minute and work your way up to what works for your hair. This will temporarily stain your hands purple, don’t panic, it will wash off. It is pricey, but worth it. You don’t use every shampoo. I use every couple of washes and I am very happy with the results!!

I love how this works. I’ve been highlighting my hair lighter and lighter going towards platinum, but since I’m a true brunette naturally who had colored my hair red for almost 25 years no matter how much bleach is used it’s got a yellow tint. I’ve tried several companies of purple shampoo and never saw any difference until this. I bought the travel size since it was cheap. Using this does remove all the yellow BUT it doesn’t do anything to clean my hair. I’m a massage therapist so I sweat and have oily scalp. So I out this on when shaving my legs in the shower then rinse. Follow up with my regular shampoo to actually clean the hair and then conditioner, and then I style with a leave in that is a bond repairing leave in and that’s where I find success. Now I can see how my hair is almost platinum. I also use it once every other month. When I hit the color blonde I’m working towards I’ll use to once a month. A little goes a long way with my shoulder length thin hair. I know people mentioned it stains hands but if you follow the instructions it tells you to wear gloves when washing your hair and I haven’t had any problems. One more downside the bottle does leak. I leave it in the shower and have to rinse the top a day after use. Then it stays clean.

Very pigmented. I personally do not like the smell. It reminds me of when you've left roses in the vase way too long 😏 and they're starting to wilt and die. It's that kind of smell, and is why only 4 stars. However, I bleached my hair to about a level 8 blonde in the back and a level 9 /10 in the front. Both very brassy. It neutralized both, and helped blend them without turning my hair purple. I can deal with the smell. It left my hair feeling a little bit dry. I used the fanola reconstructing conditioner which is absolutely amazing and smells great. I would recommend if you have lighter brassy blonde hair. I think the smell is a matter of tolerance.

This is the worst packaging I’ve ever dealt with. First of all you’re soaking wet and then you have to struggle to try to get the container opened, But it turns out you can’t figure it out. Why can’t they just have a simple flip top cover on this shampoo?

Love this shampoo you put it in leave 10 minutes and you have no more yellow. I was worried it would turn my hair purple but it didn’t. If you don’t leave it the full 10 minutes it doesn’t work to tone the hair. The purple bubbles turn white by the end of the 10 minutes and I had the most beautiful icy white blonde hair ever better than a toner.
