I wore this for my trench warfare simulation in my world history classroom. It's sturdy but not comfortable, I have a tiny head though. Someone in my household said, "Why did you buy a Nazi hat?!" and I had to go into the history of the picklehaube, Prussia, and German unification, and this person LOVES when I correct them with historical facts. So there might be people out there who might misinterpret your costume, but the REAL fans know the truth.

Strap and point on top broke quickly. Kid still loves it.

Great for 13 year old Halloween costume...was able to wear it 4 different occasions before strap broke at carnival- and we were able to fix it for Halloween with some creativity. You know how rough 13 year old boys are, so I’m surprised it went the full course. He still has it on a shelf. Got the money’s worth.

Headline sums it up. The helmet is cheap plastic, but the spike component was paper thin and the way it arrived in the package was how it is in the picture. Completely destroyed and rendering the costume useless. Terrible experience.
