It is concise and straightforward
I believe this book is written to put the knowledge "out there". Author has made no effort to explain things in much detail. Maybe that is how doctors are, they are pretty concise with their words and statements. Towards the end of this book, the author has touch on topics of Yoga asana, Astrology and Gems, which is definitely not something we expect from Ayurveda. As a reader, and also an avid practitioner of Ayurveda, I wanted to know more (or atleast revise the basics) about Food & Nutrition. It is my personal recommendation to avoid this book and seek the knowledge elsewhere.

Great little book. Inspiring and easy to read. He makes the subject very understandable, which was a big plus for me.

Sehr zufrieden für mich als Anfänger mit Ayurveda! Könnte ein bisschen ausführlicher sein aber wie gesagt für den Anfang ist es top! Auch Bilder dabwi und alles was man um die Doshas wissen muss

A life manual for healthy living. This book should be required teaching in every school around the world. Why? Because it teaches people to be aware of the different qualities and effects of everything they consume, not just food and to adapt accordingly. Nurturing this awareness wold go a very long way to living a healthier, happier life. In terms of content, it is easy for the layman to follow and understand. There is only one area where I disagreed and that is the correlation between elements/chakras/doshas. But this does not change the practical applications or conclusions.
