It holds up well to machine washing and drying. Modal is good at holding dye so colors should be stable. Various secondary treatments applied to modal yarns can alter fabric property, even the way the fibers were drawn effects strength and durability. Without those details it is best to follow the cleaning instructions on the garment label.
