Jazz Vocabulary For Electric Bass: ii-V-I

Very Clear and constructive exercises
I think Janek (and Chelsea!!) made a very good book that is clear, concise and full of great exercises that will help you with knowing your way around the neck a lot better, if nothing else. I would have given it 5 stars if they had offered a free or discount link to the accompanying videos,as these have to be bought separately on the website, however the whole amount of money spent for the course is quite reasonable.

Great practice inspiration
Really thorough - this book gives you good examples to work on and then reinforces the learning process by putting the onus on you to play it in different keys. You get out what you put in.Also includes great listening suggestions and space to write your own excercises

An excellent source of knowledge - highly recommended!
I received this book as a Christmas gift (heavily hinted at, may I add!) and have struggled to put it down since. I'm a huge fan of Janek and Chelsea's work (both separately and together) and after taking the deep plunge into jazz, this book has been a massive insight into how to approach one of the most frequently seen chord progressions. Along with 'All The Good Stuff', this makes up a huge part of my practice regime and this resource has not only brought me great joy by pushing my playing to heights I never knew it could be, but completely altered my perspective on note choice, broadened my musicality and inspired me to push myself even further. I'm still a long way from 'understanding' and feeling jazz, but 'ii V I' has definitely opened my eyes to what is possible and I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks so much!
