Hi, Pamela . . . I just opened a box to check. There are, indeed, 10 packs inside the box with each pack containing 15 sticks of gum. The only rational I could think of for the confusion is that the person who wrote up the article noted the weight of 12 ounces and then carried that number over by mistakenly mentioning "12 packs." I think that it was just an honest mistake on his/her part.
