Broil King 60190 Premium Smoker Box, Stainless Steel

I haven't seen a better, heavier duty smoker box, and I love that it fits on my Broil King grill perfectly. I've used it multiple times and it works great. To address some of the negative comments......Yes once closed it will expand a bit with the heat and will be harder to open, but it's not THAT hard. You can't just try to open it while it's on the grill. I've owned other smoker boxes in the past and they all have been hard to open once hot. I have a set of silicon BBQ gloves and I just pick it up off the grill and set it down on the ground. I have no problem opening it with two hands using the BBQ gloves, adding more chips, closing it back up and putting it back on the grill. It will discolor from the heat and smoke, but you don't have to bother cleaning it, just keep using it. It's good quality stainless so it won't rust. If you have a Broil King Grill and want to add some smoke flavor to your food, I don't think there's anything better out there. If you're smoking something large like a brisket, you'll have to fill it multiple times (I get about 30 min of smoke when it's full, vent fully open, over a burner set to medium-low), but then again once the surface cooks and starts getting bark more smoke isn't going to add flavor. I think I filled it about 7 or 8 times for my last brisket.

Bought to apply controlled smoke when grilling on my Napoleon grill. Absolutely great!

This smoker works great with an adjustable slider to control smoke output. Sturdy and convenient to put under grates. Only drawback for me is that the lid sometimes gets stuck trying to open it.Overall it’s a great product.

I love the taste of smoke in my grilled food but that's tough on a propane grill. I've used foil bags and they are ok. Then I found the Broil King SS smoker box. Remove a cooking grate and it sits perfectly on the heating plate. I wet the wood chips, closed the vents 95% and smoked ribs. They were so good, we did it again. The steel is holding up great and it feels very solid. When I grill burgers or steaks, I put a few chips in for flavor. I expect many years of service.

Heavy duty but as others have posted impossible to open once hot and add more chips.The way around this is to not fully close it at the beginning but then smoke isn't controlled as well.Also lid tends to pop off when opened and is a real pain to connect again when hot.

I bought a Broil King grill this year and it does a better than expected job of grilling steaks and rotissering chicken and prime rib to juicy and flavorful perfection. With my purchase of the Broil King smoker box I have now turned my grill into one of the best smokers money can buy at a fraction of the cost. The box fits perfectly on the flavor wave cover over the burner allowing constant heat for the wood chips or pellets. I really like the way the lid was designed to where you can control the amount of smoke by opening or closing the openings. If you love slow cooked, smoked ribs like I do and you have a Broil King grill get this box.

A great smoker box that simply works well. The dual channel allows for a good chip load. Fits the Broil King flavor wave bars perfectly. None of the cover problems others have reported. Works easily before and after use.
