Great source for potassium supplementation
This stuff is powerful! Per my calculations using an online calculator of elemental potassium per gram of potassium bicarb, 1/2 tsp will give me 1000 mg elemental potassium. I want the potassium (need to supplement low levels as well as prevent loss from doing both ketogenic way of eating and active b12 methylation protocol) but do not need to inhibit digestion with the acid neutralizing effects. So following a suggestion I saw on a previous review, I mix this potassium bicarb in a drink with 4 grams of vit C and the juice of 1-2 limes, plus sea salt and additional sweetener. I stir it around until all the active bubbling is done (indicating that the reaction has neutralized). Then I can drink it without concerns about messing up digestion. It's still slightly "fizzy" on the tongue, so the combo tastes like a yummy lemon-lime fizz. Within a day or 2 of supplementing with this potassium bicarb my BP has been consistently in the 120's/70's or lower. I will be ordering again. As always, BulkSupplements shipping is extremely quick and my package arrived in good shape. I continue to be a happy customer of BulkSupplements.

Could've used a small scooper!
Feel a change! More vivid dreams since the few days I've been on this supplement. However I also started taking Potassium Citrate from the same company a day later since taking this Potassium Bicarbonate. Both seems to work better together. But better is all relative! It's like I feel a difference...better dreaming, sleep, and my energy level seems to be more leveled off...or brought up to speed to default levels as if I needed more potassium in my diet...which I probably did being that I would knock down a gallon of water a day without doing enough physical activities to warrant that much flushing out my electrolytes. Both potassium forms seem to do different things from what I've read up on them. I even take potassium gluconate too. To experiment with experimentation! I have a blood pressure machine at home! I take a pinch of each...Don't overdose on this stuff! I avoided buying potassium Chloride because people are executed on this stuff as the final step in lethal injection. So I felt some kind of way about that! However, I do notice potassium Chloride is in reduced Norton's salt so I rather supplement it that way instead. This long review is just some extra info someone may or may not be able to use!The potassium Bicarbonate doesn't taste that bad it goes well with sweet drinks!

I use this as a heart supplement
Do not expect this to taste good. I use this as a supplement for my heart health. I have occasional bouts of tachycardia. I have found that by supplementing my diet with magnesium and potassium the frequency of these events decreases. I add this powder to some gatorade powder. It does not have a good taste. Potassium is a metal and tastes like one.

Quality product at a decent price and quickly delivered.
Potassium bicarbonate is a supplement to counter acid that is produced during exercise or during digestion of animal protein. Sodium bicarbonate is a less expensive alternative IF one does not have a medical need to limit sodium intake. For some, potassium tastes much like sodium but for others it has a metallic aftertaste.

Prevents muscular cramps
What I observed more than anything else is that I'm not having muscular cramps during or after exercises. Don't take too much or you can get diarrhea

Decent product
Would be nice with some real figures to go by I weighed a 1/2 TSP and 3.23 grams which = 3230 mg and by other math those figures out to be 1260 mg of potassium +or- cause I didn't get the same weight on any of the 5 I tried they where very close within 10 mg but here again close is all im looking for.

Just use a small amount.
This product was purchased for potassium supplementation in place of pills. It does the trick for muscle pain, but be careful to only use a bit at a time. Calculate and watch your measurements. The bicarbonate does make drinks fizzy and can change the taste of a beverage when added.
