Men's Irish Harp Rugby Shirt

My son got this shirt first and I liked the look so much I got one for myself. Having tried his on, I knew to order one size up to get the best fit. I don't know why, but this seems to be true more often than not with other rugby shirts also, when you might expect that they would be more likely to be made larger than normal. This one is comfortable to wear, a medium-heavyweight, good for cool mornings of golf or other outdoor activities. A pleasing dark Irish green, with antique gold striping draws compliments. Bright gold embroidery looks good, but is not of the highest quality, so it's to be seen whether it holds up through many wash cycles. Though not cheap, it is still competitively priced with lesser looking shirts I've seen on Amazon and elsewhere. I would recommend it to others and would consider it as a nice gift item for a sports minded male.

Great quality rugby shirt. The colors and designs are perfect. The material is quite thick and soft to the touch. Perfect shirt to wear on a cool day. The fit is loose but not too baggy. Would buy it again.

Purchased this for me. Good quality stitching and material. Nice and warm, a little too hot sometimes during spring. Have washed it in various cycles and still holds true.I am 6ft ~220lbs and the shirt fits a little short for my taste. If I raise my arms all the way up my stomach shows. I was under the impression that it might be a little longer but it is not a big problem. If you have a longer torso this is something to consider. All other areas it fits fine.Good rugby shirt for the price.

Gave as a gift to my college age grandson...It wasn't something he asked for but it looked like something he might like...I checked with him to be sure it was OK, he had already worn it twice! Did order one size up...it's a perfect fit. He usually wears large, I bought XL.

I brought this in size Large--fit's good--good fabric quality, great color of green--overall I am very pleased and feel I got a great Rugby shirt at a great price. If I designed it, only change I would make is that the collar would be white--but that's minor. My only criticism centers on garment clean up. There were a few threads where I had to clip off. While minor, and I'm sure labor cost is the issue, this is one quality control I would improve. Again, great shirt for the money!

Reviews say order a size larger. After washing and drying it was more like I should have ordered two sizes larger. And...in an update to my review, the buttons came off after one wash.

I received the jersey in good time. It initially looked large but fit well. Very nice product.

The pictured shirt has stripes very similar in color to the color of the embossed harp. DO NOT be fooled. The stripes actual color is a medium brown with a slight gold tinge that is much darker than the emblems. It is unattractive and I returned. 2 stars because shirt appeared well made and the company facilitated the return although I had to pay shipping. I did check with their customer service and all these shirts in their inventory looked the same to the lady who checked for me. Poor photography (and they know it given their description "contrast stripes"!).
