Excellent Figure for 5th edition D&D
This miniature is one of a new line made in cooperation with WizKids and Wizards of the Coast. As many people have said in other reviuews, the miniature is not gigantic and huge like the previous ones of the Colossal Red Dragon produced during 3rd edition. With the 5th edition miniatures, the size of the figure and the size of the figure's base is important. Although this figure may not seem overwhelming or huge for a creature as awesome and terrifying as Tiamat, it is correctly sized for 5th edition miniatures. If you compare this figure to any of the dragons from the Tyranny of Dragons or Elemental Evil dragons, you'll see Tiamat is quite large. Then compare this figure to a Human, Elf, or Halfling ... and you'll see she's darn big. The figure I purchased (from Amazon) is very well detailed. I bought it because Tiamat and Takhisis (both the same being in 5th edition, by the way) is one of my favorite "big bads" ever since the D&D cartoon. So is it an awesome figure? Yes. Is it worth the price? Maybe. Depends on if you're a fan of D&D or not. :) For me, yes, well worth the money.

The most portable queen of the dragons
While it is the smallest of the current Tiamat miniatures it still has a ton of detail and is quite menacing to your players. It's affordable, you can actually move it around on a battle mat, and it doesn't feel or look cheap. Definitely pick this up if you need a nice figure for a nicer price.

Kinda pricey, but worth it if you need one!
What's not to like about this? You know you need one for your Tyranny Of Dragons campaign, if only for a souvenir! Not anything close to scale with common mini figures, but it looks cool. Nice quality construction / painting / finish. It won't blow you away, but it's pretty good.

The Queen of Dragons just got...reduced?
Sadly, the guy above me is totally right and I got a bit of disappoint too. The figure is not bad per se, but probably just like me and LC, you may expect something bigger for the Mighty Queen of Dragons. If you just got into D&D and begun to collect miniatures for your games you better catch her now; Even if almost the same size, The Aspect of Tiamat from the WoTDQ set (I have it too) is a bit expensive, its slightly smaller and doesn't have the same quality details. The Paint job on this one is better and more detailed than the Aspect, I'm adding some pics with other Dragons (Old iconic White Dragon and The Aspect of Tiamat of WoTDQ) so you can compare the size. As you can see, the knight still looks small below her towering posture. I believe this new figure of Tiamat is a beautiful piece at the game table or even as just a collective item. If you are running the new D&D edition adventures HotDQ and RoT; She could be a very terrifying miniature and your players will think twice before facing something that size. I gave her four stars just because Its still useful and its a nice looking figure.

Excellent quality! Fast shipping!
Bought this to go with my animated D&D figures. Couldn’t be happier! The shipper sent this in a box with so much padding even FedEx could have been trusted to deliver it.

Dragon is more impressive than the pictures!
Wonderful item that is painted with impressively exquisite detail, making this dragon even better than the pictures can express. I am one happy customer!

Worthy investment
the dragon is very detailed and the attention to detail is amazing it was well worth the price I paid for it. I would say about 99 percent of the paint was done excellent there are two spots that looked kinda of painted over or spilled paint on the miniature other then that is so good to look at. yes this product did meet my expectations of being a big dragon. One clawed foot to see the attention to detail
