Amazing doll
I used this doll for an Elsa cake for my daughter’s fifth Birthday! She is nine now and she still loves it and was a great addition to our frozen collection.

Let it go!
So there are two sets of Elsa and Anna dolls that are around the same price... This is a review for the Mattel Elsa doll. Initially I preferred the "Disney" doll because it has better features, and unlike this version the wrists, elbows, knees, feet all articulate and bend. This version is more like a Barbie doll, the arms and legs stay straight. Also, in this Mattel version Elsa's top is painted on as part of the doll, but in the "Disney" doll versions the entire wardrobe can be changed... So it sounds like the Disney version is better - why am I giving this Mattel version 5 stars? Because my 3 year old loves version! And even though she still likes her Disney Elsa and Anna, she has more fun with the simpler Mattel doll because its limbs don't accidentally get twisted in unnatural directions. So for older kids, check out the "Disney" Elsa. But for younger children, this version is simpler, sturdier - even the hair is simpler/sturdier and less prone to getting out of place.

Great Quality and Beautiful Doll
I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old who isn't really a Barbie doll fan but she loves everything Frozen. I was wondering if she'd actually play with this since she's shown no interest in any of the Barbie dolls I bought her, but she was estatic when she got these (ordered Anna too) and has been playing with them as well as sleeping with them. The quality is on par with Barbie and not like the cheap imitations. I did keep the slippers off though because she kept losing them and we would then spend an hour looking for them. Great gift for any little girl who loves Frozen.

Elsa
I am an adult collector. This is a basic Elsa doll, but I noticed she had a new face compared to last year's model. I think Mattel did a good job of making her look like Elsa from the movie. This new doll doesn't feel as cheap as the Elsa that was released last year. The skirt feels higher quality and like it won't rip as easily. This dolls bodice is also painted on but that doesn't bother me.My only complaint is her braid. It feels very stiff. I received the doll that was pictured. Overall I would recommend her to children and collectors alike.

good
Got this for my 3 year old daughter. I personaly like that the only removable clothing is the skirt, b/c my daughter will rip tbe clothes off her dolls and then be upset that she can't find their clothes . The reason I didn't give it 5 stars in b/c some strands of hair are coming out of her braid, like the strands of hair where cut to short or something, but it was only $8. My daughter likes it just as much as she would the expensive one, so pretty good produst for the price.

Perfect to use for a doll cake.
I bought this Elsa to use in a doll cake for my daughter’s 4th Birthday. It works great as the skirt is removable but the shirt is molded to her body. My daughter loved the cake and the doll.

My niece.. being the.. 4? ...
My niece..being the..4?? 4 year old that she is obviously LOVES frozen. She loves everything about. so naturally me being the competitive uncle that i am i knew i had to get her something that all the other relatives, all the other kids and parents of those kids would look at in envy saying "man...i wish i would have thought of that." this fit the bill. the little girl loves barbies in addition to frozen so why not combine the two. These are barbie doll height which is what i was worried about them not being but luck was on my side. her face lit up as she opened Elsa, and then when she opened anna..i knew i had one. all the other parents and their presents can eat it. I won.

Lovely doll! Good for doll cake!
Love the doll - the hair was kind of stiff, and seemed glued together, but stayed braided nicely I guess. I used this for a doll cake and it was perfect because the bodice part of the doll is "attached" to the doll - it's plastic, not fabric, so it worked great to just be able to take off the skirt and insert the doll into the cake!
