India Tree Tellicherry Pepper, 2 lb

Great natural peppercorns. Very fresh and flavorful.

It has such a distinctive flavor, a nice spice kick and goes with everything, I buy online as it is hard to find locally, we just love it!

The peppercorns are twice as big as most I have seen. They are very aromatic and have a fabulous flavor. The resealable bag however is not that great. The cellophane easily tears rendering it nearly useless for storage. I transferred the full bag of peppercorns into a sealed glass container and taped the label on the front. I recommend these peppercorns. They are super tasty, not pungent, and have a very appealing fragrance.

Tellicherry Peppercorns are far and away the best choice. I don't buy any other type of Black Pepper. All other types are just sad and lifeless in comparison. This brand...India Tree...is what I call one of the best, in the category of Tellicherry Pepper. I have purchased this product many times. I have appreciated a certain consistency, in terms of quality. I always transfer these peppercorns to my own air tight container. They arrive fresh, but it's necessary to cut the top of the package to access the peppercorns, and they won't stay fresh and wonderful, with air and oxygen getting to them through a period of time. These should be transferred to a tight lidded mason jar, or to some other sealable container.

I like it, it's mild, yet flavourful. I didn't really think that it was much different than regular pepper until I changed the grind on my grinder to a coarser grind! Love it! It came in a plastic bag, I didn't think it was sealed very well, so I put it in a different plastic jar.

In order to write a proper review, I will have to try some other brands and compare. That's why I put stars in the middle. These peppercorns may turn out to really be fabulous - or not. One thing I have noticed: they have not added much pepper flavor to any dish I have put them on. Are they supposed to be that smooth? Or are they simply flat and tasteless.

I used a ninja to powder. Came out fine and mostly even grind. Taste is wonderful, a hint or two of fruity and a different "burn" than black pepper. I love lots of pepper on my food. This is worth mesding with if you're a pepper fan.

I was amazed at the freshness and aromatic floral bouquet of these whole pepper corns. The corns are larger than the McCormick pepper corns I have purchased in the past. Larger corns means the pepper has had time to ripen and develop its flavor. I will buy this product again.

Good flavor and robust ..

While the peppercorns are ok in general taste- they are quite small compared to the Tellicherry I had from a different brand. SO I doubt that this is the real deal. They were not too expensive, but much more as normal black peppercorns and therefore I would not buy them again.
