The old pump for our friends large outdoor decorative fountain broke. Couldn’t find anything at the Lowe’s, Home Depot or Walmart. This is an updated substitute on Amazon at a competing price. The fountain has been working great!!

This is the second purchase of this product and I have to say I did not realize that I was purchasing back the same thing that I bought and did not like the first time. This one turned out fabulous to my surprise and I am so glad I bought it. The first one was so noisy from vibration that I could hear it downstairs in the garage. It is in a fountain in our living room and after a few months I had to unplug the fountain and consider a replacement. The pump never failed but vibration which transmitter thru the metal fountain, down the steel legs and into the floor was totally unacceptable. This new one which I failed to realize was the same model arrived and I almost returned it unopened but with all the work I went thru I thought I would give it a try and I am glad I did. Absolutely no noise from vibration and can just here to water falling while you are in the same room. I would give it a try if you need a pump with this gpm and hopefully you will have the same good experience as I had with their second one.

I was disappointed that none of the adapters were included. It was out of the bag in the box, so I thought someone may have returned it. The plug was too large to fit into my fountain so I processed a return, but I decided to file down the plug and got it installed. Has good water flow. My previous pump was a Little Giant and lasted over 30 years, but this model is no longer made. The first was made in the US, this China. For now it is great. I don't have another 30 years, but let's see how long it lasts. The birds really missed the water, so now it's back.

All I can say is this pump has the power I needed to push water up through 2 channels to 3 feet in height. It is actually quiet. In fact, I can not hear the pump- only the waterfall. Others, i have purchased (here) said "Quiet", but were not! I have purchased about 4 or 5 previous pumps with either not enough water volume or too Loud. Most that could pump enough water to make this waterfall work well, were so Loud, I couldn't stand it. This is the Perfect pump, so I wanted to brag and put my 2 cents worth in. So very satisfied with this purchase. It's a Fair deal!

This is what I was exactly looking for. I saw this "LOG" at a yard sale and thought it was fireplace fake fire. It was a water fall. This thing had to be 25 + years old. I paid $5 for it and it is great. After a few years the pump just "gave up the ghost". I bought this and I used it and it was too much for the falls... but I was able to dial it down and now it's just great. I saw cheaper pumps and more expensive... but I got the pump I needed for a good price.

This is a replacement (same model) for the original pump furnished by the fountain manufacturer (YA-560). the cost is a little high ($23, others are $8 to $14). The original burned-out after 2 years pf constant operation. Low water safety device failed to work. The pump operated daily (on timer) for about 14hrs. It worked well - good flow, easy to adjust, quiet, and easy to install; BUT, be aware that the low water shutoff can't be depended on. I will report on the replacement in about 6 mos.

This pump was used in a small fountain and was cleaned and maintained daily but lasted for only 3 months before quitting. When I called Amazon I was told its past the 30 day return window and it is up to me to contact the seller. I have sent multiple emails to the company and have heard nothing back. I am disgusted with the manufacturer and I am disgusted with Amazon. I am going to look for other options going forward for all my purchases. Support small companies and let's stop giving our money to these crooks. Oh yeah, when I searched for other options for a fountain pump, I found one nearby for half the price!
