Rico Graftonite Tenor Sax Mouthpiece, B5

I originally gave this a poor review, but after working with it for a while, I realized it's a pretty good piece. Would I use it at a gig? I could, and I would not be miserable,..but I have other mouthpieces that I prefer.. The audience would probably not know the difference. This would be a GREAT student mouthpiece, but that doesn't mean a pro could not use it.

Fit and finish are great. It makes it easier to get the high notes (left palm keys) to sound right, gives a more jazzy/breathy tone to the low end Great sound good the price

Plays okay on my Selmer Mark VII. Barely playable on my Yamaha YTS-62 (lots of warble/motorboating in the low registers)

Started using my Rico B5 today and really love it. It is perfect and make a great tone while not being restrictive.

Reed sits a little differently on this mouthpiece than my Yamaha (which I accidentally chipped). I like the sound it gives me and I'm getting used to it but it feels 'bigger' in my mouth than my previous mouthpiece. Would still recommend and for the price it's not a huge investment to try for a different sound. I may still replace my old Yamaha with the same model but this one gives me a little brighter sound which is nice if I need to project more (i.e. outdoor venues)

Purchased for my son. He used this brand before and really likes the sound quality.

Had to replace a high quality Yamaha mouthpiece that broke in the case!! This mouthpiece is just as good at half the price. I would recommend this mouthpiece for a student in Jr High or High School.

Impossible de sortir le moindre son de mon saxo ténor sans devenir cramoisi en essayant de souffler dans ce bec. N'étant qu'un simple amateur je ne porte aucun jugement de valeur sur ce produit qui peut certainement convenir à d'autres personnes mais en ce qui me concerne ce bec est retourné dans sa boîte.

Premessa: vengo dall' utilizzo di un becco di ottima qualità in metallo. Non mi sono trovato bene nel passaggio, suono chiuso e ovattato, inoltre non la qualità del suono che mi aspettavo

Estas marca de boquillas me resulta curiosa, ya tengo dos, y me sorprende la calidad/precio, no esperaba que fueran gran cosa y por ello la sorpresa fue muy agradable, si te gusta probar boquillas nuevas, por el precio que tienen esta marca, no lo dudes...
